ABOUT IATR
International Academy of Television and Radio (IATR) was established in October 2002 at the constitutive conference of the electronic mass media representatives from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Canada, Lithuania, Russia, the USA, Finland and Tajikistan.
In 2004 IATR was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation as an international organization. Currently, the Academy comprises more than 250 television and radio professionals of 20 countries of three continents.
The IATR is non-governmental public organizations, whose main objective is to expand and space for creative interaction and exchanges among those who work in electronic media regardless of political and geographical borders.
Anatoly Lysenko (Russia) was elected President of the Academy and Chairman of its Presidium; Leonid Zolotorevsky was elected Secretary of the Presidium.
By the decision of the founders, the IATR’s headquarters and located in Moscow. Sergey Erofeev is Executive Director of the Academy.
Membership in the Academy gives colleagues from various countries an opportunity to participate in all projects of the IATR, including international competitions and festivals, as well as start their own projects.The Academy has television, radio, professional education and technical sections. In 2006, the Academy founded the Internet section.
